The course
Track, profile and categorized climbs at a glance. The map and altimetry come from the real GPX track; tap a numbered climb for its detail.
Official profile
Official distance and elevation with a hilly profile. We estimate your times from those numbers.
Estimate by level
Without a GPX we still estimate your time from the official distance, elevation and terrain profile. We will refine it once the track is processed.
Map, point-to-point profile and categorized climbs will appear here once we process the GPX track for this route.

What do I need to know?
Ridium's training read and the caveats before you trust the times.
Training read · Ridium AIThe big 150 km road race over the Nuerburgring with about 3,360 m of climbing across many laps of the Grand Prix track and Nordschleife. This is a long, climbing-heavy day demanding deep endurance, disciplined pacing and durable descending under fatigue; build around 20 weeks toward 5-6 hour rides.
- Endurance
Build around 20 weeks of endurance with long rides growing to 5-6 hours, so the duration is familiar. Include rides that replicate repeated-climb fatigue, not just steady distance.
- Climbing
With about 3,360 m of climbing in 150 km (about 22 m per km) you face a long sequence of steep climbs up to 17 percent, including the Hohe Acht. Train climbing repeatability and the ability to climb well late in a long ride.
- Pacing
It is a timed race over many laps, so meter your effort carefully. The classic mistake is going too hard in the first half and fading badly in the final third, so save matches for late.
- Technical
The roads are fully closed, allowing fast, committed descending. Stay technically sharp even when tired, because the repeated Nordschleife descents demand attention every lap.
- Fueling
For a 5-6 hour effort, plan 70-90 g of carbohydrate per hour and drink consistently. Map a clear feed strategy across the laps so you never run empty in the closing climbs.
- Technical
Fit wide-range gearing so the late steep climbs stay manageable, and make sure brakes and tyres are fresh for repeated fast descents over a long day.
Caveats
- No official GPX or detailed elevation profile was published, so the climbing is estimated from the route's total elevation gain.
- Featured climb and sector detail is limited to the named items (Hohe Acht, Grand Prix circuit, Nordschleife) and was not confirmed against a course file.
