Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Ridium is an AI-powered cycling training assistant that integrates with Intervals.icu to provide personalized training analysis and recommendations. The service includes AI chat conversations, fitness data synchronization, training plan analysis, and performance insights. Ridium is a training tool and does not replace professional coaching, medical advice, or clinical diagnosis.

2. Account Registration & Security

You must create an account to use Ridium. You can register using email/password, Google OAuth, or Intervals.icu OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Notify us immediately at support@ridium.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

Free Plan

The free plan provides limited access to Ridium's features, including a monthly message limit for AI conversations and access to the standard AI model.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan provides unlimited AI conversations, access to advanced AI models, priority support, and additional features such as historical analysis and season planning.

Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscriptions. Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without authorization
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

Ridium and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ridium and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your training data and conversation content remain your property. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Third-Party Integrations

Ridium integrates with third-party services including Intervals.icu, Strava (via Intervals.icu), and Google. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Disconnecting an integration will stop further data syncing but will not automatically delete previously synced data.

7. AI-Generated Content

Ridium uses artificial intelligence to analyze your training data and provide recommendations. Important disclaimers:

• AI recommendations are not medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical decisions, especially regarding health conditions, injuries, or medication
• AI analysis is a supplement to, not a replacement for, professional coaching. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified coach for critical training decisions
• While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inappropriate suggestions. Always verify recommendations against your own experience and condition
• We do not guarantee specific training outcomes, performance improvements, or fitness results from following AI recommendations

8. Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Ridium, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before discontinuing core features. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ridium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law or Chilean law.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@ridium.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation where reasonable. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will retain and delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Santiago, Chile. If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory EU consumer protection laws, and you may bring proceedings in your country of residence.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@ridium.app to resolve any disputes amicably. We will make good-faith efforts to address your concerns within 30 days. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr) to submit complaints.

14. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ridium regarding the service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the service at least 30 days before they take effect.
