The Medio Fondo is a high-difficulty alpine road route of about 125 km with around 2,500 m of climbing, repeated climbs, steep ramps up to 18%, and a late return to Feltre. It rewards steady climbing endurance, disciplined pacing, and confident descending once fatigue is present.

Use the 18-week preparation window to extend long rides toward the demands of a 125 km mountainous event.

Build repeat-climb sessions because the route lists Forcella Franche, Forcella Aurine, Passo Cereda, and Passo Croce d'Aune, while the GPX analysis identifies 10 notable climbs.

Ride the middle climbs below the limit so the final climb toward Piazza Maggiore can be handled after more than 100 km of accumulated work.
