Goals Interview

Five minutes of conversation, a season of direction — a guided interview that turns "I want to be faster" into concrete objectives your coach plans around.

The interview conversation (natural exchange about a target race).
Benefits

A real interview, not a form

Five minutes of conversation, a season of direction — a guided interview that turns "I want to be faster" into concrete objectives your coach plans around.

A real interview, not a form

The coach asks about your races, ambitions, and constraints the way a human coach would — in your language.

Priorities that mean something

Events become A/B/C objectives, so planning and tapering decisions follow your actual priorities.

Grounded in the event directory

Name a gran fondo and Ridium links it to the verified course — dates, distance, climbs included.

Non-race goals count too

Weight, FTP, consistency, a big personal ride — general goals get captured and confirmed just like races.

Remembered forever

Confirmed objectives are stored (and written into your calendar) so every future conversation starts from them.

How it works

Step by step

The same steps you'll find in the help guide.

01

On your first visit (or anytime from your account), start the goals interview.

02

Chat naturally about what you're training for; the coach asks follow-ups about dates, priorities, and preferences.

03

Race events are matched against the event directory when possible; the coach proposes structured objectives on a confirmation card.

04

Review and confirm — objectives (and race events) are saved, and key preferences become coach memories.

05

Edit objectives later at Account → Objectives, or just tell the coach things changed.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start

How long does it take?
A few minutes — it's a short conversation, not a questionnaire.
What if I don't race?
General goals (FTP, weight, endurance, a personal challenge) are first-class objectives too.
Can I change goals mid-season?
Yes — update them in your account or tell the coach; plans adapt on confirmation.
What are A/B/C priorities?
A = the races you peak for; B = important but not peak targets; C = training races. Tapering and planning respect them.
Is anything saved without asking me?
Objectives are only stored after you confirm the proposal card.
