Keep your data up to date
What syncs automatically, what the manual sync does, how far back data goes, and how to read the freshness badge.
Real-time by default
In production, Ridium listens to Intervals.icu webhooks: new activities, calendar changes, and wellness updates arrive on their own, usually within seconds β no action needed. The manual sync exists for everything else and for peace of mind.
Manual sync
The sidebar sync indicator shows how fresh your data is and offers "Sync now".
Click the sync indicator in the sidebar.
Hit "Sync now". A full refresh of profile, wellness, calendar, workouts, and activities runs.
There's a cooldown of one manual sync per minute β if you just synced, wait a moment.
What syncs and how far back
Each sync covers: your athlete profile and power curves (current snapshot), wellness for the last 42 days, calendar events and planned workouts from 7 days back to a year ahead, and activities for the last 365 days. Older seasons are pulled on demand when you use multi-year analysis β see the season analysis guide.
Reading the freshness badge
Fresh means synced within 6 hours; stale, 6β24 hours; very stale, more than 24 hours. One subtlety: a sync only counts as fully successful if every section succeeded. If one section fails, you may see new data and a stale badge at the same time β run the sync again.
Troubleshooting
"Sync now" returns an error.
Why it happens: Common cases: no connection (connect first), a sync already running, or the once-per-minute limit.
How to fix it: Wait a minute and retry. If the indicator says "Fix credentials", reconnect from Account β Integrations. If errors persist, see the sync problems guide.
