Help/Your data/Analyze past seasons

Analyze past seasons

Run multi-year analysis of your training history, and understand the on-demand ingestion that powers it. Pro feature.

Run an analysis

Season analysis reads whole years of history, so it fetches them from Intervals.icu the first time you ask.

01

Open the analytics section (Pro).

02

Pick a season to analyze, or start a historical analysis conversation.

03

First time on an older season, Ridium ingests that year's daily data from Intervals.icu β€” this runs in the background and can take a few minutes.

04

The report covers load progression, fitness peaks, zone distribution, and what actually preceded your best form.

What it needs

The analysis is only as good as the history in your Intervals.icu account. Years where you trained with power or heart rate produce rich reports; years with sparse data produce honest but thinner ones. Nothing needs to be re-uploaded β€” if it's in Intervals.icu, Ridium can ingest it.

Season analysis vs annual plan

Analysis looks backward (what happened, what worked); the annual plan looks forward. They connect: a season analysis is excellent input to ask the coach for next season's plan.

When it doesn't work

Troubleshooting

An old season shows almost no data after ingestion.

Why it happens: That year genuinely has little data in Intervals.icu β€” ingestion can't create what isn't there.

How to fix it: Check the year on intervals.icu directly. If data exists there but not in Ridium, re-run the ingestion; if it persists, contact support.
